Day 1: Arrival in Kigali
The moment you arrive at Kigali International Airport, Rwanda’s main entrance point, your 15-day wildlife adventure in Rwanda and Uganda officially begins. Our knowledgeable tour guide will warmly welcome you, take you through a simple briefing about the 15 days trip, then transfer you to the lodge for breakfast. After a few hours of relaxation, drive out in the stay to have a glance at some of the outstanding places like the Kigali genocide memorial site, Kimironko Market and some craft centres. Day 2: Transfer to Nyungwe National Park
Travel to Nyungwe Forest National Park, a place with over 1,000 wildlife species and a vast biodiversity. this ancient rain forest park is best for those who cherish nature and primates.
Best stop overs along this route are, the Ethnographic Museum and King’s Palace Nyanza, for a study of Rwanda’s cultural legacy.

Day 3: Chimpanzee tracking and Canopy walk
Embark on the Chimpanzee trekking adventure in the park jungles. Expect to see over 500 wild chimpanzees in their natural habitat as you delight in the beauties of nature.
After lunch, take a walk on east Africa’s best canopy walk on 70 metres suspended bridge, high above the forest floor. Its two hours walk that provides aerial views of the forest and the surrounding landscape and most wildlife that dwell in the forest canopy.

Day 4: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park via Lake Kivu.
From Nyungwe National Park, set of for Musanze with stopover at Lake Kivu, one of Africa’s great lakes. Enjoy a scenic boat ride to see some islands and fishing villages. Enjoy lunch with fresh fish at the lake’s sandy beaches, proceed to Musanze (VNP). Dinner and over night at Davinci Lodge (midrange), Classic Resort Hotel (budget)

Day 5: Golden Monkey tracking and Ibyiwacu cultural centre visit
take pleasure in visiting the jungle of volcanoes National Park to track another group of popular primates in this park other than gorillas, – the golden monkeys. trek in the bamboo forested zones with your knowledgeable park guides. One hour is allowed for observation and photography.
After lunch visit the Ibyiwacu Cultural centre to have a taste of Rwandan culture through local craft demonstrations, traditional dances, and music. This is a unique chance to discover Rwanda’s history, traditions, and customs that have been held through the ages. Dinner and over night at Davinci Lodge (midrange), Classic Resort Hotel (budget)
Day 6: Bisoke hike and cross to Uganda (Bwindi)
Starting at the base of mount Bisoke, follow the trail and hike through the bamboo forests, alpine vegetation and other vegetation zones as you meet different and unique wildlife. After 3-4 hours, you will reach the summit, enjoy the serene crater lake at the top and enjoy clear views of the surrounding volcanoes. later descend, meet your guide, drive to your hotel for lunch and later drive and cross to Uganda in Bwindi National Park. Day 7: Gorilla tracking
Get to the park office by 7:00 am. After receiving the about the gorillas and hoe to behave around them, you will be assigned to a gorilla family along with other trekkers. Eight people per family. Will the lead of knowledgeable guides and trackers, venture into the park jungles to locate the gorilla group. On locating them, spend one memorable hour with them. Day 8: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park via Ishasha sector.
After a relaxed breakfast, set off for queen Elizabeth National Park with a game drive Ishasha sector trying to spot the climbing lions. on a lucky day, you will see them resting on branches of fig trees. Dinner and overnight at Bush lodge (midrange), Enganzi lodge( budget)
Day 9: Game drive and Community visit (Katwe Salt works)
You will wake up to an early morning game drive to spot some nocturnals as they return to their hideouts within the park. While on the game drive, expect to spot the big four game and other wild animals including antelopes, giraffes, warthogs and white colobus monkeys among others. lunch at the lodge.
after lunch drive to lake Katwe, a salty lake that doesn’t support aquatic life. Interact with the local s and learn the traditional method they have used to extract salt for over several years. Day 10: Game drive and boat cruise
Get up early to go on a game drive in the Kasenyi plains. Expect to see a lot of wildlife species such as buffalos, topis, lions, hyenas, Kobs, elephants and many others. in the afternoon, take a boat ride over the Kazinga channel which links Lake George and lake Edward where you will see crocodiles, hippos, and several bird species. Day 11: Transfer to lake Mburo, boat cruise and night game drive
Transfer from Queen Elizabeth to lake Mburo National Park as you enjoy the beautiful countryside. Check in upon arrival, and later in the afternoon embark on a boat ride on Lake Mburo to watch aquatic animals and birds. A night game drive exposes you to nocturnal animals like civets, leopards, hyenas, bushbabies and other animals that are always active in the night. Day 12: Boat horse riding and afternoon game drive /optional community visit
After a relaxed breakfast, embark on the back horse-riding adventure with the guidance of park guide. As you ride your horse, expect to see other wild animals like giraffes, zebras and Kobs. (Ensure reasonable distance between you and the wild animals).
