CYCLIING TRIP IN KIGALI RWANDA WITH SSALI BILLY

DAY ONE: Destination from Saint Etienne Guesthouse KN 7 Avenue Nyarugenge Kigali.

We went for the shopping in the supermakert and we bought a variety of things which we were to use for our cycle riding.
Then started our journey from the supermarket To Gitarama Muhanga and the road land scape was very awesome on our way to Splendid Hotel, We arrived in the evening and we did check-in. It was our first day of the trip from saint Eteinne guest house to Splendid Hotel In Muhanga

DAY TWO

After having a delicious breakfast  at Splendid hotel in the morning, we left for  Nyanza King’s Palace. The landscape was so aggressive and the road had sharp corners, it really made the bicycle ride very interesting and everyone was so amazed with the hills and valleys on our way. We reached  the Nyanaza King’s palace at 3:00pm, where we were welcomed warmly, ten the guide  took us through a number of numerous attractions such as

• The royal Crown And Royal Chairs which we so great

• We found a lady who was grinding millet and she amazed us with the songs she was singing showing the passion of what she was doing, and we were told that millet was used as food and for making local brewerry

. We were showed the ancient containers which were used to keep milk ready, they were locally known as “EBYAGI”

• They suddenly took us at the King’s Kraal, and we found there the King’s herdsman who showed us the long horned cattle which impressed us all, all the cows were so peaceful and the herds could touch them everywhere he wanted, even he could milk them due to the songs he was singing to the cattle which showed peace and harmony
• We were showed the former kings Parliament where the king he could sit and call his local chiefs for the meeting of signing peaceful treaties
At around 5:30pm in the evening we left the kings palace and this took us 10km to reach Quality hotel in Nyanza it was quite near to the king’s palace. This marked our second day.

DAY THREE

Following our morning breakfast, at Quality hotel, we started our riding to Butare. The road had good junctions, corners and we rode for three hours then we made a stop over to have some eats , refreshment,checking our bicycle to see whether they are still in a good working condition. That short break nearly took us forty minutes and we continued with our journey to Butare.
Thereafter, we proceeded to Butare Rwanda Cultural Heritage Mesuem, where we registered with cash so that we would be able to access the attraction there such as:
• The local hoes which were used for planting and harvesting by the ancient people

• We were showed how the kings used to punish the law breakers in there perspective plus the tools they used

• We were showed the local weapons like the spears, arrows and Shields the kings army used incase of any war

• We were showed the tools hunters used to trap first running animals and they showed us the way they dug trap holes and spears

• They showed us the local knives and baskets the kings peasants used when preparing the kings food they were believed very strong and they all looked amazing.

After Visiting the Rwanda Cultural Heritage Mesuem We rode to Light House hotel in Butare But All in all the journey was so impressive.

DAY FOUR

After having a delicious breakfast in the morning at Light House Hotel, we embarked on our ride to Kitabi,the road made our bicycle ride very interesting due to the good landscape with sharp corners,the slopes and hills on this journey were really amazing.

We rode for 30km and we made a stop over to get some eats refreshment and checking on our bicycles to see whether they are still in a good riding condition,the climatic conditions were also extremely amazing. After resting for 40 minutes, we continued our journey to Kitabi and we definately reached to Nyungwe eco Village.

The Nyungwe Eco Village was surrounded with tea plantations all around we were so impressed with bird viewing, the environment was natural with forests. We enjoyed some activities like natural walking,this Marked our Fourth day with beautiful scenaries.

DAY FIVE

After having our delicious breakfast in the morning, we left Kitabi and we continued with our journey to Gishyita, passed through a nice forest called Nyungwe Forest where We Met a variety Of Animals Like Chimpaze, Monkeys,Bush Babies. The journey through Nyungwe forest was so interesting because the road had sharp corners, slopes and hills.

Nyungwe Forest was real amazing the trees were so tall making good scenaries.

After passing Nyungwe forest we reached to Gishyita where we found a huge tea plantations, we made a stop over to have lunch and we enjoyed the experience of tea harvesting, the tea plantation had beautiful scenery this made our trip amazing.
After a stop over of forty five minutes we continued our journey to Appearance Children’s Village and the road had a nice land scape this made our trip awesome.

DAY SIX

After having our breakfast in the early morning,we proceeded our journey to Rutsiro the ride was extremely amazing with a nice sloping and the sharp corners.
We made a stop over for an hour and we had our luch in one the restaurants and the meal was real amazing due to the local food they served us, it was a great experience we had never experienced. Then after eating we obsereved the environment then we re¬-checked our bicycles then we continued our journey to Clement Motel, it was a nice Hotel, they welcomed us and we checked in this marked our sixth day.

DAY SEVEN

After having our breakfast in the morning, we proceeded our journey to Gisenyi. We passed through Congo trails it was an extra-ordinary experience on Congo trails, the road was very rough, stormy, rocky and it had pot holes as if we were on a massage road.
We reached Lake Kivu and we spotted Hyenas, Crocodiles and Hipos, we really enjoyed the trend because it was an extra-ordinary trip

We stopped over on the trail and we had lunch it was an amazing experience. Thereafter we proceeded our journey to Musanto Hotel for a relaxation since the journey was so long. We spent two days relaxing and boat cruising  at lake Kivu as part of our leisure. Musanto Made our holiday trip very interesting and adorable.

DAY EIGHT

After having our delicious breakfast in the morning, we left for our journey to Ruhengeri,the landscape was critically amazing, the sloping was so adorable and we all enjoyed the trip.
After a long ride, we made a stop over on the road side and we checked our bicycle tires to see whether were still in a good condition,then  proceeded for lunch from a hotel in a road side hotel and we had lunch.

We were served delicious local foods, then after continued our journey to Ruhengeri Town.

We stopped by a certain supermarket to buy some staffs like fruits, drinks and more. We packed them in our Luggage Van and proceeded to Amahoro Guest House and this marked our day of the trip.

DAY NINE

After Having our breakfast very early in the morning, we proceeded with our journey to Kilambo, it was a greatest experience of Muram Road. The road was rough, we climbed hills of murram roads and the slopes this made our trip so cool and great.
We made a stop over to check our tires as well as eating, some fruits like yellow bananas, mangoes and drinking water, this took fifty minutes and we then proceeded with our journey to Paradise Motel Limited Kilambo we checked in and we were welcomed in the most humble way and this marked the end of our day.

DAY TEN

After having our breakfast in the morning, we proceeded with our journey to Byumba, riding through the murram and tarmac road which made our trip so cool and great. It was partly covered with a forested area with sharp corners, and it was a great adventure.
We made a stop over and we had some eats and drinks, on our stop over we interacted with the people in the community and it was a great experience, we saw millet and sorghum plantation on our stop over, it really looked amazing. That marked our day with a great new experience.

DAY ELEVEN

After having our breakfast in the morning, We continued with our journey to kabarore and the part of the road tarmac and murram, the landscape was so amazing with hills and slopes, the sharp corners were so definitely awesome.
We stopped over for lunch in a nearby restaurant, and interacted with the people of the community around and it was a nice experience. We then checked our bicycle tires to see whether they are still in a good condition. The people in the community were so hospitable and it was a great experience to us.
We the continued with our journey to Ntende Hotel Kigatumba road, we reached to Ntende hotel in the evening and we were welcomed in a nice way, it had a nice bar and a good garden. To those who wanted to go to Gym went for Gym and to those who wanted Sauna and steam bath went for sauna. Ntende Was really a nice hotel and made our evening very interesting.

DAY TWELVE

After having our breakfast in the morning, we continued with our journey to Kabarondo. The road had sharp corners with gently sloping landscape plus the slopes and hills this really made our riding so interesting, the road was mainly tarmac so it was so interesting.
We made a stop over to Kayonza town for lunch and made some shopping to add on the items we were to use like water, biscuits and some fruits. Within the course of the hotel some enjoyed the buffet and others took fried chicken and it was a great taste this was definitely amazing.
We continued with our journey to kabarondo and we reached to Akagera Neighbors Guesthouse and we reached quite in the evening. We were welcomed and we checked in and it marked the end of our day.

DAY THIRTEEN

After having our breakfast in the morning at Akagera Neighbors guesthouse, our lunch was packed then proceeded to Akagera National Game Park, it was quite a short distance from the guesthouse to Akagera national park and we reached at the game park at 7:00am and we registered our name at the main gate, and after we entered our vehicle and we drove 6km to the head office of akagera national park inside the park.

We did the second registeration, then a game ranger was a signed, who briefed us about the history of Akagera national park.

After, we started our journey of touring the game park with the game ranger and we enjoyed our morning game drive, we spotted buffalos, zebras, giraffe and big elephants, we even met hippopotamus. our game drive was so amazing we even met rhinos and they were so big, apparently they were near to us. We saw even lions and it was really a nice experience more than what we expected.
We passed through Akagera river and we enjoyed bird viewing. Our game drive took three hours and we made a stopover to a picnic area and had our packed lunch, we met so many people at the picnic area because they were so many people in the game drive.

After eating we left the game park to kayonza which was quite a long journey, the road was quite sleepy with potholes and we had to maintain a speed of 40km/hr which made our journey slow and gradual to Kayonza. We reached to Midland hotel at around 6:30pm in the evening and we checked in and we were welcomed and that marked our last day

DAY FOURTEN

After having our breakfast in the morning, we started our journey from the Kayonza to Kigali, and we really enjoyed our riding.

Visit Rwanda and enjoy your riding experience because Rwanda has a gently sloping landscape with hills and sharp corners, Rwanda is so green with eucalyptus trees planted allover the country.
We made a stopover and enjoyed our lunch, checking our bicycles mechanical conditions and it was absolutely amazing. Rwanda is an industrialized country with so many companies we saw on the road sides while we were heading to Kigali.
We found a lot of traffic in Kigali and it was really a hard time, but we had to bare with it and we reached at the Saint Etienne Hotel at around 3:00pm in the afternoon hours.

We took a rest at the hotel we had some rest, then started packing our bicycles in their bags but we packed them via parts.
At 9:00pm in the evening we drove to the airport,  then we took our flight to Belgium, it was really a nice time.

Rwanda is really a nice country, we didn’t find any mechanical problem, Rwanda has a variety of tourist attractions guys am recommending you to visit it for a trip because it made our trip very interesting and amazing. Mr Bukenya Deo was our tour guide from day till when we finished our trip and he was great man talking politely explaining to us on what we wanted to know and he was a Ugandan man. Definitely he also made our trip interesting and enjoyable. Hopefully am recommending you guys to tour Rwanda with that man because he had a great experience in most places he could definitely help us where we needed help.

Detailed Itinerary For the 9 Days ultimate Primates & wildlife Safari

Day 1: Our Journey to Volcanoes National Park From Kigali

Pick up from the five-bedroom house in Kabuga Kigali city at 8 am Rwanda time.

We drove to Musanze city, which took us 3 hours to Musanze city. We had lunch at crema café for one hour then we went to volcanoes national park headquarters for registration of the Diana Fossey hike which was going to be on the following day. After5 that we went to Kinigi market for shopping then we camped at Buffalo lodge in Kinigi village

Day2:  Dian Fossey Hike- Transfer to Lake Kivu

Very early in the morning at 6 am, we drove to the park and it took us only 5 minutes from Buffalo lodge to the park. The clients had to do a rapid test before allowing them to go hiking. The charges for the rapid test were 5000Rwanda francs per person. They were all negative results and they came out in 3 minutes.

By 9 0’clock we got in our jeep and we drove 30 minutes to the starting point of Diana Fossey Hike in Bisoke village.  You need a 4×4 vehicle to go to Bisoke village. The hike takes 7 to 8 hours, the clients came back at 4:30 pm then we drove to Gisenyi town at Lake Kivu which took us 11/2 hours to our lodge Inzu lodge.

Day 3: Boat ride to Spa Shalom in Kibuye

At 12 noon we started our journey to kalongi-kibuye by boat which took them 3 hours to spa shalom at Kibuye but still at Lake Kivu. But the cruise wasn’t interesting according to the clients because of the rain.

Day 4: Early Boat ride in Lake Kivu & PCR test at Kalongi Hospital & Transfer to Nyungwe

Clients started the early boat ride for two hours around Lake Kivu, they came back at 10:30 am and at 11 am we drove to Kalongi hospital for a PCR test in preparation for chimpanzee trekking for the next day at Nyungwe forest National park. The charge for PCR is 50 USD per person, the results take 2 hours to be released and we went for lunch at Lwiza village lodge as we were waiting for the results. We restarted the journey to Nyungwe forest national park at 3:30 pm. It took us 3 hours to reach the park. We stayed at the campsite but all of us needed to have the PCR test (both the Guide and the clients), park entrance, and pay for the tent provided by the park authorities.

Day 5:  Chimpanzee Tracking & Tea Plantation Experience

Clients started their chimp tracking at 5:30 am, we drove for 10 minutes to Uwinka but after 11/2 hours the rangers told us it is difficult to see the apes so we were told to drive to Cyamudongo which took 11/2 hours to reach the trekking point of Cyamudongo.

The clients entered the jungle at 10:30 am and they came out at 1 pm. We drove back to Gisakura village for tea plantation experience which took 2hours. Afgt6er we drove back to Uwinka camp.

Day 6: Visit Butare Infant School- Transfer to Gikondo Homestay in Kigali

At 9 am restarting with our journey, we stopped at Huye town, the clients had to see their friend who is a teacher at Butare infant school, the same time to have lunch. We also visited the school and at 4 pm we drove towards Kigali city in Gikondo home stay.

Day 7: Nyamirambo women’s Center – Transfer to Akagera National Park

At 10 am we drove to Nyamirambo women’s center for crafts and lunch, then at 2 pm we started our drive to Akagera National Park. We had a stopover at kayonza town for shopping, we arrived at the park 4:30 pm and we had to do a rapid covid test for everybody including the Guide which costs 500 Rwanda Francs per person and 100 USD for par entrance foreign non-residents and 15000 Rwanda Francs for East African residents. Camp fee is 35$ per person and 25$ for ground tent per person and we paid for 2 days, we camp at s321yakane camp.

Day 8: Balloon Trip Plus Game drive at Akagera

At 5:30 am the clients had a balloon trip which takes 45 to an hour in the park. It is done by royal balloon. At 8:00 am we had a breakfast at Akagera game lodge and a little relax, at 11am we started with our game drive which took us 3 hours but it was difficult to us to see animals because the grass was tall. At 2pm we drove back to Akagera game lodge for our lunch and swimming.

At 4 pm we went back to the late afternoon game drive up to 7pm then back to syakana campsite.

Day 9: Mid Morning game drive & Transfer to Kigali

At 7:30am we had an early morning game drive up to 10 am then we went to Akagera game lodge for late breakfast and relaxing up to 2pm. The drove out of the park to Kigali air port

ISAACS TRIP OF 16 DAYS IN RWANDA WITH TWO CLIENTS.

Sunday 26/Mar/2023

Day 1

16 Days Rwanda & Uganda Safari With Dinuka Karu & Marcus From Srilanka:

( DAY 1)

After breakfast at Hotel Milicoline Kigali Rwanda at 8:00 am Rwandan time. we made a city tour starting with Kigali genocide museum we went to Kimironko market at 12pm we drove back to the hotel for lunch then we visited the home of former president Habyalimana now it’s called the art museum then we did a PCR tests in preparation for chimpanzee tracking we drove back at hotel at 7pm.

( DAY2 )

At 7am Rwandan time we started our journey to Nyungwe forest national park which took us 4 and half hours to Nziza lodge after checking in at the lodge.

Nyungwe Forest National Park for Chimpanzee tracking & Canopy Walk

we drove to the park for Canopy Walk at 3pm and that helped us to know the time for chimpanzee tracking the following day the walk took 2hours then we drove back to Nziza lodge for our dinner. It took us 1 hour to drive to park and another 1 hour to drive back to the lodge.

(DAY 3)

At 4:30am all of in the car we drove back to Nyungwe Park from Nziza lodge for chimpanzee tracking.

Chimpanzee Tracking in Nyungwe Forest National Park

we started at 5:30am Rwandan time the tracking almost took 6 hours by mid day we drove back to Nziza lodge for lunch we then relaxed for 3hours at our lodge, at 4 pm we went for a simple community walk which took us 2 hours then we came back to our lodge

(DAY)

At 8 am we started our journey to kibuye which took us 3 hours we did PCR tests at kibuye hospital on our way to the hotel in preparation for Gorilla tracking it took us 3hours to get the results we stayed at Rwiza village lodge on lake Kivu

(DAY 5)

At 8:30am we started our journey to volcano national park we had our lunch at Gisenyi at lake Kivu at one of the beaches and after lunch we walked around Rwanda and Congo boundaries at Kibati it took us 7 hours to get to our lodge at Gorilla Luxury lodge

(DAY 6)

At  7 am all of us in the car to volcano national park for Gorilla tracking it took us 15min to reach the park we had to present the pass port and Gorilla permits for tracking we were given the easiest group or family because we drove for 30min from the park head quarters to the starting point.

It took only 30 mins for the client to meet the Apes after 1 and half hours they were back in the car we drove back to Gorilla Luxury lodge for lunch, we relaxed for 2hours then we wenyto the community walk at Kinigi town market after 3hours we drove back to our lodge

(DAY 7)

At 8:30am all of us in the car we drove from Rwanda to Uganda via kyanika bounder post by 11am we were in kisoro town we had to change money and having lunch in local hotel then we proceeded with our journey to Ruhijha Gorilla tracking sector we arrived at the hotel at 4:30pm at Ruhijha community Gorilla lodge we had to relax as we where getting ready for Gorilla tracking the following day to Christmas

(DAY 8)

At 7:20am all of us in the car with our box lunch it took only 5mins to the park we meant with entertainment group by the community members before the briefing we where give Bitukura family because the clients wanted to experience the jingle so my clients asked me to choose for them a hard group and I did it by 9am they entered the jingle the came back at 2 pm, they were very happy for the good experience of the jungle they came back to the park for graduation and they were given the certificates then we drove back to our hotel for relax for 2hours in the evening the clients asked me to go to the community to party with the locals since it was Christmas day we Left the car at the hotel for the walk and it was so interesting we came back to the hotel at 9:30pm

(DAY 9)

At 8:30am all of us in the car heading to Queen Elizabeth national park via Buhoma, Kihihi,and Ishasha southern sector of Queen Elizabeth national park we had our lunch in Kihihi Town at the local hotel on our way we saw some Buffalos,Elephants,Olive Baboons and plenty of different Antelopes on our way to Engiri game lodge it took us 6hours to get to our lodge after checking in we relaxed for 2hours then we went for late afternoon game drive at 4pm we were Fortunately with in 20mins from the Gates we saw 2 Lions relaxing on Cactus tree then with in another 5mins we spotted the sleeping leopard at open ground we had to wait all most 1hour for it to walk up finally it woke up the clients we very happy with good pics we drove back to the hotel at 7pm

(DAY 10)

At 6:30am all in the car for early morning game drive we spotted plenty of Antelopes, Buffalos, Elephants, Mother Lion with 2 cubs at 11am we drove back to the lodge for lunch at 1:40 pm we drove to Kazinga Channel for boat Cruise using community boat at Katungulu the boat trip takes 2hours and the clients show alot of Hippos, Crocodiles, Monitor Lizards plenty of Fish Eagles, at 4:20 we drove back to the hotel

(DAY 11)

At 8am in the car on our way to Kibale national park for chimpanzee tracking. We tracked in the afternoon so we drove to Kalele lodge

(DAY 12)

At 7:30am in the car on our journey to Murchison falls national park via Kyenjojo, Hioma, and lake Albert we had a stop at the coffee plantations and our lunch at Hioma city at a local hotel it took us 8hours to our lodge at Kundwa Nile view lodge after checking in we drove to late afternoon game drive we wanted to do night game drive we where rejected by park authorizes because our resting hotel was not inside the park but we enjoyed a late afternoon game drive we saw Jackson Heartbeats, Water backs, Elephants, Buffalos, plenty of Giraffes and 4 Lions with 2 cubs hurting then we drove back to our hotel

(DAY 13)

At 6:30 am we went for early game drive again we enjoyed what we saw a day before for only 3hours at 10 am we drove to the top of the falls by 1 o’clock we drove back to Para for boat Cruise at River Nile with wild frontier the boat took 4hours at 4:30 am we drove back to the hotel

(DAY 14)

At 7am in the car on our way to Kampala we passed at lake Albert because we didn’t want to pay another park entry fee so we drove to Hioma, Kimboga to Kampala it took us 6hours to reach Hilton gardens after checking in we went for city tour using motor bikes / Boda boda to fight traffics we visited Owino market, Nakasero market and Buganda road Craft village then we went back to our hotel

(DAY 15)

At 7am in the car we drove to Equator monument in Kayabwe on Masaka road which is 77kms from the city center it took us 2 hours to reach the Equator we sent one hour taking pics of the Equator then we drove to Entebbe airport to drop Marcus who was flying on 1st January 2023 at 1 pm we reached the airport then we drove to Jinja City with Dinuka Karu it took us 4hours to Jinja at Nile front cottages we went to Jinja sailing club for boat Cruise to the source of River Nile the boat trip took 1 and half hour we drove back to our hotel at 6:30 PM

At 9am in the car driving to Entebbe airport and my client’s flight was at 1pm on 2nd January 2023 and that was the end of the trip.

10 Days Rwanda Trip Report To Nyungwe & Akagera National Parks Plus Lake Kivu

DAY 1: CITY TOUR

We Visited the Nyamirambo women center: in these tour you will be able to see women show case the hand made crafts,  women sawing,  this Centre has empowered a lot women in Kigali,  through selling their crafts to different places and tourists.

Return to the lodge for dinner and over night stay at haven boutique hotel Kigali.

DAY 2: KIGALI – AKAGERA NATIONAL PARK IN THE EASTERN PROVINCE.

AT around 10:00am after breakfast   we set off from the hotel driving to Akagera national park,  during this drive  we drove through rice farms fields,  later we went for covid rapid test,  because it’s mandatory to have a negative PCR covid test we later check in at the hotel at Rhino,  lunch was served  later in the afternoon  at around 3:00 pm we went to the park for a sunset boat cruise on lake Ihema, in the park,  on this cruise  they spotted some aquatic animals like the hippos,  Nile crocodiles, and some aquatic birds like the fish eagles, kingfishers and many more,  on sunny days you will also see some elephants,  buffaloes,  water bucks drinking water from the lake,  on our way back we spotted a leopard  it was just sitting on the side of the truck resting,  they took some photos,  the photos were not clear since it was busy and also was turning dark we returned to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY 3: FULL DAY GAME DRIVE IN THE PARK.

We woke up  early  to start our memorable drive to the park.  Akagera is the largest national park in Rwanda which seats on 1112 km2. we started with great hill views encountering some wild animals like

the Plain Zebras which roam the  park we  descended to the lakes of Ihema and more,  on we were lucky we spotted some black and white rhinos,  elephants, buffaloes,  giraffes, crocodiles on the shores of these lakes and many more antelopes,  we had lunch at the picnic site in the park, at the picnic they prepare some hot snack food and coffees we returned to the lodge for the sunset,  dinner and overnight.

DAY 4: RETURN TO KIGALI.

After breakfast we drove to Kigali,  on the  way we  stopped at kayonza cafe for a lunch and coffee,  this cafe has good coffee after lunch we drove to kapraki craft village, Later we drove to hotel mille colline hotel in Kigali for dinner and overnight.

DAY 5: KIGALI CITY TOUR

After breakfast at the hotel, we drove to the genocides of Nyamata and Ntarama, in these memorials you will be able to see how the April 1994 genocide in Rwanda started,  drive to Kigali for lunch and later go to  Kigali genocide museum,  in this museum you will be able to know fueled the genocide,  later visit kimironko market  return to mille colline hotel.

DAY 6: DRIVE TO NYUNGWE NATIONAL PARK.

After breakfast in the morning,  we drove to nyungwe,  on the way we saw lot of agricultural fields,  we visited  the nzanza king’s palace, , in this palace we were able to see how the king in Rwanda lived his life not forgetting his big cow, a lot can be learnt from this palace, we embarked on  our drive to nyungwe, stayed at hill top view lodge.

DAY 7: CHIMPANZEE TRACKING AND CANOPY OR WATER FALL WALK.

Starting very early in the morning,  we woke up early, with our  packed breakfast,  drove to the starting point of the chimpanzee in chamudongo group of chimpanzees, briefing started 8:00, entered the forest to look for our closest relatives, after one hour of walk we found the chimpanzees,  viewed them for one hour,  return to the car for the drive to the canopy walk or waterfall.

Returned to the lodge for relaxation and overnight stay.

DAY 8: DRIVE TO KIBUYE ON LAKE KIVU

After breakfast,  visit the Tea plantations near nyungwe national park ,you will be taken through by alocal tour guide,  will be able to see how people plant the tea,  how they pick the tea manually,  to the factory were it’s treated, we embarked on the drive to the kibuye,  stayed at komrant hotel for dinner and overnight.

DAY 9:  LAKE KIVU

After breakfast went for a boat tour on the lake visiting the islands on lake KIVU.

You will  see how people fish with their local canoes which they join in three to go in the evening to fish sabaza fish,  tried out the canoe paddling on by our selves, relax and overnight stay.

DAY 10: DRIVE TO KIGALI FOR YOUR FLIGHT.
