Self Drive Rwanda Cancellation & Refund Policy.

Will I be charged if I cancel my reservation, How much is the cancellation fee for a rental car, with/without a driver in Rwanda.

If you did not prepay for your 4×4 rental car reservation, there will no cancellation fee, otherwise if you prepaid for your vehicle reservation the following conditions will apply.

FREE CANCELLATION of your prepaid vehicle reservation after it has been confirmed, you can cancel for free up to 7 days prior to the day you start up your rental. After this period the below cancellation policy will apply.

selfdriverwanda.com will NOT charge you for the full rental amount at the time of reservation. We ONLY charge you a 30% deposit to ensure your vehicle is reserved.

The cancellation policy however only applies to the deposit.

We must receive a cancellation notice at least 7 days before your vehicle pick up.

No refund will be given for ‘No shows’, early returns or voluntary down-grades of booked vehicles.

All cancellations must be made by mail to info@selfdriverwanda.com. Should you agree to cancel directly on arrival, you must also inform us of this change to your booking.

Amending your booking or cancelling optional extras may not be possible less than 7 days before pick up.

What is a no-show? A no-show occurs for the following reasons:

1 – Not informing us about your cancellation prior to your pick up date.
2 – Failure to pick up the car at the arranged time and date.

CANCELLATION CARGES

For all cancelled reservations OUTSIDE the FREE CANCELLATION PERIOD with a deposit of 30%  or less, there will be no refund.
More than 28 days 25% of your deposit

Between 7 days & 28 days 50% of your deposit

7 days or less 100% of your deposit

Will my rate change if I cancel and modify my vehicle reservation?

Probably yes or otherwise no- rental rates can change on a daily basis depending on the number of days, season, number of passengers and the fleet/vehicle type.
