Through the 10 Days Authentic Rwanda Wildlife Safari, discover Rwanda’s hidden gems, expect to experience Rwanda’s biodiversity and ecosystems. Day 1: Arrival and Kigali city tour
You will be welcomed by our safari guide/driver at Kigali Airport. He will brief you shortly about the trip, transfer you to the hotel for breakfast (depending on your arrival time), later move out for the Kigali city tour where you visit the Kigali genocide memorial site , Kimironko Market and some craft centres.
Dinner and over night at Hotel des Mille Collines
Day 2:Kigali-Nyungwe Forest National Park and Canopy walk
After your breakfast, transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park with stopover at Kings palace Nyanza to witness Rwanda’s royal and mornachial history. Enjoy the Long horned Inyambo cattle as they listed to music as traditionary trained. Lunch en-route, and after transfer to the forest. Enjoy the park in an aerial perspective on canopy walk. expect to see different birds and other wildlife species like monkeys. Check into the accommodation for dinner and overnight at Nyungwe Hill Top View Hotel.
Day 3: Colobus monkey tracking and tea experience.
After an early morning break fast, meet at the park center for a briefing about Colobus monkey trekking. With the leadership of park guides and rangers, you will enter the forest to search for these interesting and charming monkey species. follow them and watch them for one hour though the whole trek lasts for 2-4 hours and return to the lodge. After lunch, visit Gisakura tea plantation to learn about tea planting, harvesting and processing to consumption stage. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Nyungwe Hill Top View Hotel.

Day 4: Chimpanzee Trekking and transfer to Lake Kivu
After breakfast meet at the park offices again for briefing about the forest and the primates, there after enter into the forest searching for the chimpanzee in the branches of the trees and as you look for the chimps expect to spot other primates like the white and black Colubus, vervet monkeys, red tailed monkeys and variety of birds.
Lunch and thereafter travel to Lake Kivu (Gisenyi). Dinner and over night at Lake Kivu Serena Hotel
Day 5:-Lake Kivu (boat cruise)
After breakfast at your lodge embark on a refreshing boat cruise on the lake and visit some of the different islands and visiting fishing villages. Lunch will be at one of the beaches on the islands. In the afternoon relax at the lake shores and enjoy sunbathing the white sand, swimming, and the beautiful sunset.
Dinner and overnight at Lake Kivu Serena hotel.
Day 6: Lake Kivu-Volcanoes Gorilla Park (Ibyi’wachu cultural village)
Have breakfast, checkout, and embark on a transfer to Volcanoes National Park, a home to the some of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas in the mist. The park has got so far now more gorilla families launched for tourism gorilla trekking and each family is visited by 8 clients per day.
Experience village walk and visit the Ibyi’wachu cultural village to witness cultural performances of dance and Kinyarwanda songs and other exhibits of Rwanda tradition. Dinner and overnight at Five Volcanoes Boutique Hotel.

Day 7: Rwanda Gorilla Trekking
Have breakfast, thereafter, continue to the park headquarters for briefing about the mountain gorillas and how to behave when in presence of these majestic creatures, after, enter into the jungle with ranger guides and porters to search for the mountain gorillas.
You are allowed in their presence for about an hour while taking memorable photographs and videos. Return to the starting point to meet your driver guide then to lodge for where you will spend the rest of the day dinner and overnight,
at Five Volcanoes Boutique Hotel.
Day 8: Volcanoes- to Akagera Wildlife National Park
After breakfast, with your leisurely drive to Kigali where you will stop over for lunch and then after drive to Akagera National Park an extension of Tanzanian plains where you expect spot variety of wildlife species. Dinner and overnight at Akagera game lodge.
Optional: Night game drive
Day 9: Game drive & Boat ride
Dawn game drive to look for early riser wildlife species and other wildlife like the lions, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, warthogs, rhinos, water and bush backs, among others.
Return to lodge for lunch and after in the evening prepare for boat ride along the Ihema Lake and over the cruise expect to spot various wildlife including hippos and crocodiles, others along the shores, and birds as well. Return to lodge for dinner and over night at Akagera game lodge.

Day 10: Akagera-Departure
After breakfast, board your safari vehicle and transfer back to Kigali with lunch en-route if time allows another stop over to some local markets for souvenirs. After, drive to the airport for your flight back home.
